Cody Campbell is a pianist, vocalist, and lifelong performer, having toured half of the 50 states as a sideman for acts of widely varied genres. He has recorded with and performed on stage with Grammy winning artists, Grand Ole Opry stars, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members. From his formative years at his family's Kentucky Opry to his more recent endeavors as a songwriter and music artist, he has continually strived to make a pleasing sound to the ear. His deep love and feeling for music is apparent anytime you see him perform.

Chad Cates is a singer / songwriter based out of Nashville, TN. He brings a mix of genres including Country / Rock / Pop / Americana in his performances to accommodate any crowd. He has been influenced by a wide range of artist including Garth Brooks, Conway Twitty, Kenny Rogers, John Mayer, John Prine, Michael Jackson, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, and many others. Chad has had the privilege to work with and write songs with some of Nashville’s best singers, songwriters and musicians. He has had the opportunity to perform at venues such as Tootsies, Legends Corner, The Tin Roof, Rippys, Honky Tonk Central, Pucketts Grocery and Restaurant, Ole Red and many others.

The Bavarian Bierhaus is hosting a series of thrilling Masskrugstemmen competitions throughout September as part of the U.S. Steinholding Association's official Tennessee State Championship qualifiers. Join us every Saturday through September at 7:00 PM to witness the strength, endurance, and Bavarian spirit of competitors as they battle it out, one stein at a time. Cheer on your favorites as they attempt to hold a full one-liter stein (that's about 5 pounds!) straight out in front of them for as long as they can.

But the fun doesn't stop there! The top contenders from our qualifying rounds will earn their place in the grand finale: the Tennessee State Steinholding Championship, held at Schulz Bräu Brewing Company in Knoxville on October 19th. It's the ultimate showdown, where the strongest and most determined will compete for the title of Tennessee's best steinholder.

So whether you're a seasoned pro or just looking for a fun and unique challenge, come on down to the Bavarian Bierhaus and experience the excitement of steinholding firsthand. Prost!
